Privacy
yolfez.com counts visits with PostHog, an analytics service. The count goes through this site's own server, sets no cookies and keeps nothing on your device.
What is sent
For each page you open: its address and title, the page that sent you here, your browser and device type, screen size, language and time zone. When you leave a page, the time it was open and how far down you scrolled are sent too. If a page hits a script error, the error message and where in the code it happened are sent as well. On the street and in the rooms, a few moments are added: which doors you open or try, and when you finish a room.
What stays here
Anything you type or write stays on the page and is never sent. The date you give the Numen room is never sent either; only its number is kept, in this browser. The street and the rooms also remember a few things in this browser, like sound, motion and the rooms you have finished. Nothing records the screen.
Your IP address
PostHog uses your IP address and browser details, together with a key that changes every day, to make a visitor ID for that day. The address is dropped before anything is stored. The daily key is deleted within a few days, and after that the ID cannot be turned back into your IP address.
Where it goes
The counts go to PostHog Cloud in the United States and are kept for up to one year. tell.yolfez.com is counted the same way in the same place, so visiting both from the same browser on the same day counts as one visitor.
Cloudflare, which serves this site, also counts page loads with its own Web Analytics, which sets no cookies either.
Turning it off
If your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, PostHog does not load. Cloudflare's own count still runs.
